Sentencing
OverviewSentencing occurs after you have pled guilty, Nolo Contendre, or are found guilty at your trial.
FinesIf the judge orders you to pay fines, surcharge, and a court cost, these fines should be paid on this date. If you cannot pay your fines in full, you will need to fill out a payment contract, which will allow you to make payments, and allows you 90 days to pay your fine in full.
Jail Time
If your sentence includes jail time, you will be taken into custody immediately. An officer will transport you to Garfield County Jail. When you have served your time and are released, you will need to make arrangements to pay your fines.
Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverages
If you have pled guilty, Nolo Contendre, or have been found guilty at trial for a minor being in possession of an alcoholic beverage, the state of Colorado requires the following:

With a third conviction, possible jail time can be added to the sentencing.
